Our trash company has signed a new lower-cost contract with us! There is no change to our service, except that as part of this agreement they are offering new trash and recycle containers to all owners (free of charge, and delivered to you). You may continue to use your same trash/recycle containers (or just putting out bags, if that's what you do) — if you wish to continue "as-is" then you need do nothing. (Just walk away from this web page.)

The new containers are sturdy 96 gallon size, with wheels. (The benefit to the trash company is they can be picked up with their automated, robotic arm. Very futuristic.)

Note that they are larger than a typical 33gal. trash can. Their dimensions are approximately 41"H x 30"W x 34"D, weigh approx. 40lbs empty, have large wheels, and sturdy lids. They are meant to avoid tipping over in strong winds and the lids are hinged so they will not blow off. Note that the brochure PDF shows a trash can beside a smaller recycle bin like we have now — if you get both the new containers then of course you'd have two of the same size, and the trash and recycle containers will be different colors to tell them apart. Also note that you will still be required to keep your trash/recycle containers screened from view when it's not trash day, such as in your garage or behind a fence, so do make sure these fit where you plan to keep them.

The contract allows for you to have one of these containers for trash and another for recycles if you want.
